Summary of the Partnership Building
The training for volunteer coordinators will provide practical tools and strategies for effectively managing volunteers and building partnerships with other organizations. During the training, we will focus on developing a strategy for volunteer programs, sharing experiences among organizations, and engaging in a hands-on volunteer activity. The program will also include lectures informal educational methods, and a discussion on volunteering as a tool for youth work. The training will offer space for networking and acquiring practical skills for more effective volunteer management.

Originally comes from the Czech Republic but has been living in Slovakia since 2017. She works in organisation VIAC – Institute for youth support and development as a project manager. RoMi has lead many trainings about project development, partnership and communication. She works with young people since 2007. She is also game designer and game player.

The Dissemination training will take place in an place called Oravský Podzámok. It is a part of Orava – rural region with a majority of people living in small villages.
The accommodation will be in shared rooms of between 2–3 people. The sheets and towels will be provided. The course is residential, so we will stay together in the venue for the whole time.
You need to arrive on 17th (Saturday) of May, but depart on 23th (Wednesday) of May.
We recommend this option:
Take a flight to Bratislava;
From Bratislava train station take a Train to Kral'ovany;
From Kral'ovany take a Train to Oravský Podzámok.
To receive reimbursement of travel expenses (plane/bus/train) we need you to deliver us following documents:
Invoice of your flight tickets, originals of bus or train tickets (invoice received from the airline/bus company if you buy the tickets online or from the travelling agency if you buy the tickets via an agency);
Boarding pass (from both ways).
*Please note that that travel costs will be reimbursed only for those who:
stay for the whole period of the partnership building (travel days are 17.05. (arriving) and 23.05.2025. (departure));
who fills the final report after the partnership building is over;
actively participate in sharing the results and outcomes of the partnership building after it is over.

Beakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks are all included. Also individual eating habits of participants will be taken into account, but don't be afraid to try Slovak traditionals!
It is the participant's responsibility to obtain full insurance for themselves. This includes travel insurance, medical insurance or European Health Insurance Card.
